Anyone who believes artificial intelligence makes life easier has never tried to explain to a digital brain that an old man with a straw hat and glasses is not a 20-year-old yoga instructor!
There I sat in front of the screen. The glasses were in place, the straw hat lay ready next to the keyboard, and the mission seemed simple: a few digital helpers to make daily life easier. But in the labyrinth of AI apps, you end up in digital Nirvana faster than you can say "prompt."
You type in your wishes like in wonderland. The app promises to solve everything in seconds—from tax returns to the perfect vacation photo. But reality looks different: I wanted a relaxed beach scene, and the AI conjured up a robotic dingo on Mars. I wanted a short text, and out came a philosophical treatise on the nature of being.
My pulse rose, the coffee cup was empty, but Herbie stays totally relaxed. After the tenth failed attempt, I realized: artificial intelligence is ultimately just a mischievous digital assistant that does the exact opposite of what you want.
Conclusion: If you venture into the jungle of AI apps, you need strong nerves and an extra dose of humor. Next time, I'll ask the café owner around the corner again!
